Banana Mango Green Smoothie Bowls with powerNUTS + Sprouts

These take under five minutes to whip up

Recipe type: Dinner/Smoothie/Appetizer
Serves: 2


  • 2 bananas, frozen are ideal
  • 2 heaping cups kale {baby spinach will also work}
  • 1 mango, peeled + pitted {I used the atualfo variety}
  • 3 tablespoons hulled hemp nuts
  • handful of hemp sprouts  or alfalfa sprouts {optional}
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • handful ice

Put all the ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth.

Divide the smoothie into two bowls and top with mango slices, hemp nuts, sprouts and whatever other little goodies you’d enjoy.

Additional toppings could include:

  • mango slices
  • hulled hemp nuts
  • sprouts and/or micro-greens
  • shredded coconut
  • drizzle local organic honey
  • chia seeds
  • goji berries
  • other fresh fruit like bananas, pineapple + berries


We eat so many hemp nuts that I buy the naturART brand in bulk in a 500g bag
